According to many critics Andreas Öberg is already considered a guitar virtuoso. Next to his infallible musicality an incredible agility of the fingers has developped over the years. The impressive development has given him a career during which he has already had the chance to work together with artists such as Les Paul, Eros Ramazzotti, Barbara Hendricks, Toots Thielemans, Bireli Lagrene, Ulf Wakenius, Mark Murphy, Joey DeFrancesco etc. Andreas Öberg can play a wide range of styles. Having studied music theory and composing in the Stockholm Royal Music Academy, Andreas Öberg can find his way in bebop, swing, bossa nova, gipsy jazz and fusion and this he always does with a youthful rock’n’roll liveliness. Andreas Öberg Quartet also features Rihards Fedotovs from Latvia (drums), Marian Petrescu from Finland (piano) and Toivo Unt (doublebass).
